The Three Cheese Garden Pizza Recipes

Few great recipes from my nonna

The Three-Cheese Garden Pizza

The three-cheese garden pizza is a fast and easy meal that is not only deliciously mouth-watering, but it is made with ingredients that are very easy to get hold of. This recipe yields 8 servings and it is best that individuals make use of smaller zucchinis, rather than large ones, since they tend to be tenderer.

To start off with, it is important to gather all of the ingredients, which includes;

1 10-ounce pizza crust
1 small, chopped onion
1 small to medium, sliced zucchini
A cup of sliced mushrooms
2 sliced plum tomatoes
2 pressed garlic cloves
4 ounces of shredded mozzarella
4 ounces of shredded cheddar
1 ounce grated parmesan
A teaspoon of Pantry Italian Seasoning Mix

Directions:

Start off by preheating the oven at about 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll the pizza crust onto the large round baking stone and bake the crust for about 7 minutes. When the crust is removed from the oven, store it on a cooling rack. Scatter the garlic over the crust before sprinkling mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top. Afterwards, evenly spread the onion, mushrooms, zucchini and tomatoes onto the top of the pizza and grate some parmesan over the toppings. Just before you put it back into the oven for another 15 to 18 minutes, sprinkle over with the seasoning mix. Remove from the oven and serve.

Fruit 'n Oat Scones

Fruit 'n Oat Scones are a delicious and healthy way to either start the day or simply to eat as snacks and they are simple to make with the help of pizza stones.

To start off this recipe, gather the following ingredients;

1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup of rolled oats
¼ cup of packed brown sugar
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
½ cup of diced dried fruit
1.2 cup of margarine or butter

Directions:
Start off by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, salt and baking powder. Cut the butter in slices and add it to the mixture; mix until the mixture appears as coarse crumbs. Add in the dried fruit before slowly adding in the milk, until the mixture is moist.

Flour a surface and start kneading the dough about 8 to 10 times in a gentle manner. Roll out the mixture onto a medium pampered chef pizza stone (which is about 9 inches in diameter). The mixture should be about ½ inch thick. Cut the dough into 12 wedges and separate each one slightly. After combining the sugar and the cinnamon in a shaker, sprinkle it over the dough and bake in an oven for about 15 to 17 minutes. Remove the scones when they turn a golden brown color. This mixture makes 12 scones.
