For this dish you will need 
two tablespoons of olive oil, 
½ cup chopped onions, 
½ cup dry white wine, 
one diced medium orange pepper,
 two cups of rice, 
six cups of chicken broth, 
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, 
½ pound asparagus, and ½ pound crabmeat. 
When you have gathered these ingredients you can start preparing one of the best Italian seafood recipes around.
Start by heating the olive oil over medium heat in a saucepan, adding the onion and pepper and allowing them to cook for about three minutes in order to make the vegetables tender. You should then add the rice in, stirring the mixture and allowing it to cook for around two minutes until the rice turns a nice opaque color. Once the rice is opaque, add the white wine and continue to stir until the wine is absorbed and then add two cups of hot chicken broth in with the rice. While the rice is simmering continue to slowly stir the mixture, adding the remaining chicken broth a ½ cup at a time making sure that the liquid is absorbed before adding more. With the last ½ cup of chicken broth be sure to also add the asparagus and crabmeat. Add the cheese and continue to stir for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and cover the pan, allowing it to stand for five minutes and then serve the risotto, adding a little extra cheese on top.
